Wanted: Fiddler

I've sent e-mails out to several violin instructors throughout the Tulsa area in search of a full-time fiddler. We got one response, but it didn't get us any closer.

So if you are a fiddler, or violinist that wouldn't mind being called a fiddler, and would like to audition for Queen's Gambit, drop us a line through our "contact" page. I get and respond to e-mails right away.

We're basically looking for someone who is local to the Tulsa/Muskogee or NE Oklahoma area, and who is willing and able to make weekly rehearsals, and to travel on weekends during the Spring and Fall months. We especially want someone who can play music by ear and learns quickly, and can improv around a melody line. The music and the performances are very rewarding, in terms of artistic satisfaction and good will created. Not to mention all those wonderful Renaissance Faire folke!
